Description jsvitko129 2024-05-04 15:53:16 UTC
Description:
Many times, when I put the file that I'm working on to sleep, when I wake it up, it will either not enlarge, or it will enlarge and not be responsive for many minutes, if at all. Other times I'll be reading the file and it will suddenly become unresponsive for several minutes. This never happened with Writer 7.5.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put 1 mb file asleep as well as computer.
2. wake up computer and "enlarge" the file
3. sometime file will wake, but be unresponsive, other times it will not "wake".

Actual Results:
Had to close the file, and reopen it using writer recovery.

Expected Results:
Open it, and let me continue on where I left off.

Reproducible: Sometimes

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
This seems to do this with rather large files only.

Please attach a sample file, reduce the size as much as possible without private information, and paste the information in Menu/Help/About LibreOffice, there is a copy icon.

After several more rounds of my file becoming non-responsive after sleep, after writing about five words, etc., I uninstalled 7.6.6 and reloaded 7.5.9. Now my file (a fiction story) does not become "non-responsive" anymore.

Then after update, if you have the issue again, test in Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode.
